Continuous strip panorama (257 x 2760mm). Lithographed panorama on paper backing. (A few small tears, some creasing, backing torn with loss.)
Second edition, the view "taken from a site directly opposite the Acropolis, near the church St. Demetrius the Bombardier." (Blackmer), but without the pamphlet of descriptive text. The first edition published in 1836 was from a different viewpoint and was taller (275mm.) but not as long (2210mm.). Cf. Blackmer 192 & 193.
