A WHITE MARBLE CHIMNEY-PIECE, with a breakfront shelf above a moulded edge, the frieze centred by a projecting tablet carved with an urn and foliate scrolls, flanked to each side by a panel carved with a lidded urn with husk pendants, foliage and tied scroll bands, the jambs each headed by a tablet carved with a sacred urn on eagle-head monopodiae, the panelled uprights each carved with a triumphant urn on rams mask monopodiae altar tripod, with foliage and a fruit-filled tazza, on block foot and with astragal-moulded ingrounds, the carved elements late 18th Century, together with a fitted white marble hearth 69¾in. (177cm.) wide; 59½in. (151cm.) high; 8in. (20.3cm.) deep
