AN AUSTRIAN BRASS-INLAID AND ORMOLU-MOUNTED MAHOGANY CHIFFONIER crossbanded overall in ebonised wood, the superstructure with rectangular top and moulded cornice above a pair of shelves and three lozenge-inlaid satin birch-line drawers with lion-mask and ring-handles flanked by columns, the pull-out writing-surface inset with a rectangular panel above a satin birch-lined drawer and two further shelves, the lower concave-fronted, between scrolled angles and on square tapering legs and foliate caps, early 19th Century
