A CHELSEA BALUSTER VASE painted in a bright palette with exotic birds perched on the branches of a knarled tree in a landscape vignette, the reverse and neck with scattered butterflies and insects, with a gilt band to the lower part of the neck and gilt footrim (some misfiring to glaze and enamels, slight rubbing to gilt footrim), circa 1756
