A PARIS (STONE, COQUEREL ET LE GROS) COMPOSITE PART DESSERT-SERVICE transfer-printed and coloured with classical figures at various pursuits, named country house views and Continental views within borders of stylised trailing vine, scrolling foliage and anthemion between richly gilt bands, comprising:
An urn-shaped two-handled ice-pail and cover with putti garlanding a goat with flowers and Cupid climbing a tree (chips to rim of cover and foot, one handle broken)
A flared pierced circular basket, the interior with Venus riding in a shell chariot and with navette-shaped medallions of muses, on a detachable square base (slight rim chips to footrim)
Two pierced navette-shaped baskets, the rectangular bases with brown and gilt griffins, swans and scrolling foliage (one repaired)
A double confiturier and two covers, on a navette-shaped fixed stand, decorated with children (one finial repaired)
A flared circular footed bowl with Night, Day and Air (crack to rim)
Two oblong octagonal dishes with Pluto and a Nereid (one broken)
Four circular saucer-dishes with classical figures (one with rim chips, another riveted)
