Kändler, he in turquoise jacket, white shirt, purple breeches and yellow shoes, she in gilt spotted dress and yellow-lined flowered black cloak, he on one knee before his reluctant seated companion, Cupid standing on his back, on a mound base applied with flowers and leaves (restoration to his left foot, her right arm, right foot, left fingers and thumb, Cupid's wings, right hand and arrow, slight restoration and chips to flowers and leaves, cracked through base and his left leg at knee), circa 1745
