A MEISSEN ARCHED RECTANGULAR TEA-CADDY AND COVER, each side with an oval panel painted in puce camaïeu with three huntsmen standing on a rocky outcrop before stags, a falconer on horseback, a dog about to attack a fox and with a stag on a rocky mound within gilt line panels surmounted by tied bands of laurel and above tied palm branches, the shoulders with sprigs of flowers, the cover similarly decorated and with flower finial (rubbing to gilt rim and slight chips to finial), blue crossed swords mark and 1, circa 1750
