A BERLIN GROUP EMBLEMATIC OF ASIA from the series of the Continents, the crowned figure standing in a loose flowered dress and pink ermine-lined cloak holding an orb and a sceptre, a boy holding a pot-pourri vase and wearing a turban, jacket and trousers seated at her feet and behind her two further children in a feathered headdresses and chitons holding an arrow and a shield, on a rectangular mound base moulded with gilt foliage scrolls (boy in turban with right foot and plume of turban lacking, sword lacking, slight chips to extremities), blue sceptre mark and incised W, circa 1775
