Lot Essay

Ernest Gimson carried out much of the woodwork throughout Wilsford Manor, which was built to the designs of Detmar Blow between 1904 and 1906. A similar settle may be found at Mill Hill, Brandsby, Yorks., another of Blow's designs and where woodwork may also be found by Gimson.
