A SILVER TEA KETTLE ON STAND AND LAMP
Bearing marks for London, 1818, later chased
Inverted pear form, chased with large blossoms and foliage on matted ground, twice with vacant shaped oval, scroll and rocaille enclosed cartouche, with decorated spout, hinged raised cover with flower finial, raffia covered swing handle, the cast circular stand openwork with flowers and shells, divided by grotesque masks, on three scroll and shell supports, with decorated burner, height over handle--14in. (35.56cm.), gross weight 73oz.
