A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SALTS AND A HORN-HANDLED TODDY LADLE*
Each maker's mark of Hester Bateman, London, 1790 and 1784
Each salt with gilt interior, compressed circular, on three scroll and stepped hoof supports, with corded rim--2¼in. (5.7cm.) diam., the oval bowl issuing strap and join with beaded rims, the partly twisted horn handle with pointed silver end--14in. (35.56cm.) long the salts--2.5oz. (3)
