Inverted pear shaped on foliate scroll supports, the sides chased with bold blossoms, foliage and rocaille on matted ground, twice centering vacant shield form cartouche, with wood loop handle, part floral and bird's mask headed scroll spout, the hinged low domed chased cover topped by cast seated bagpipe player--6½in. (16.5cm.) high, gross weight 25oz.
