8° (226 x 140mm). Half-title, E3, E4 and M4 cancels, final errata/advertisement leaf. (Tear to inner blank margin of M1, occasional browning particularly to first two and the last leaf.) Original sheep-backed boards, uncut, modern cloth cover and slip-case (the binding covered with early vellum spine and marbled paper on the boards, extremities rubbed, repaired tear to foot of spine). Provenance: E. Hubert Litchfield (armorial bookplate).
