Maker's mark of Edward Rockwell, New York, circa 1820, maker's mark stamped twice under each base
Comprising teapot, two-handled covered sugar bowl and cream jug, each urn form, on oval pedestal base, one side engraved with foliate script initials MWW, the other ?J R, with broad die-rolled floral band to shoulder, the teapot with wood angular handle, paneled spout, the hinged flat topped, partly raised cover topped by flower headed ball finial--the teapot 9in. (22.8cm.) high, gross weight 46oz. (3)
