AN ATTIC WHITE GROUND LEKYTHOS, with black-glazed foot, neck and handle, the main body frieze depicting a central grave stele in the form of a column surmounted by a high palmette with volutes, flanked on the left by a young woman, standing and holding out a taenia in her extended left hand, her hair bound in a sphendone, to the right stands a youth with a lyre propped before the stele at his feet, traces of red remaining, with yellow encircling lines on the upper and lower borders, the upper with a band of meander, the shoulder decorated with a central palmette and tendrils, repaired with minor restoration, second half of 5th Century B.C.
