A ROMAN GREEN GLASS DOUBLE BALSAMARIUM, each of the twin bodies with thick inward-folded rim, bound together with a dark green spiralling trail, with thick applied high arching handle pleated at the rim to form twin side handles on the upper body, bronze cosmetic applicator still embedded in one of the phiales, 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) high; another, similar, with twin handles applied on each side in multiple looped folds, 4 5/8in. (11.8cm.) high; two others, similar, with twin handles, the bodies decorated with spiralling trails, one phile damaged, 4in. (10.2cm.) and 5½in. (14cm.) high respectively; and an amber green glass jar with everted inward-folded rim, and thick dark green zigzag trail attached to the rim and shoulder, a double-looped handle applied above, 3¾in. (9.7cm.) high, all circa 3rd-4th Century A.D.
