A RUSSIAN SILVER TANKARD AND A PART-ENAMELLED SPOON
The tankard Moscow, 1884, assay master Viktor Savinkov, maker's mark ? H.H
The tapering cylindrical tankard with two chased ribbed bands, engraved between with two architectural cartouches, topped by stylized paired seahorses, one engraved Kegelelub Wladiwostock, the other Erster Preis, the front with date 1889, with arabesques between the scroll handle with open thumbpiece, the hinged raised, decorated cover topped by baluster finial--7in. (17.7cm.) high, the spoon part-enamelled in dark blue, white and turquoise cloisonne enamel --Moscow, 1894--7½in. (19cm.) long, gross weight 16.5oz. (2)
