A total of 1068 stamps in all were produced, 12 stamps having been spoiled. These 1068 stamps were made up of 1d. stamps in black, in blue, in mauve and in red. The remainders which were destroyed consisted of 55 1d. in black, 129 1d. in mauve and 3 1d. in red.
1d. Black, S.G.10
288 were produced, consisting of fifteen sheets less twelve stamps from Plate 8 which were spoiled; all were typewritten carbon copies in black. Some 70 unused examples, including a strip of four from Plate 11, a block of twelve from Plate 9 and two complete sheets from Plate 10 (one of which is in the National Postal Museum collection), and 5 used examples, including one on cover, have heen recorded. 55 remainders were destroyed.
All singles which have been plated, 14 unused and 5 used, emanate from Plates 7,8,9,10 and 11. This, when coupled with the fact that all known examples of S.G.11 emanate from Plates 1 to 6, suggests that the fifteen sheets produced of S.G.10 consisted of three carbons each of Plates 7 to 11.
