Further details
Note: This is one of the two recorded examples of S.G.13a; the other example is an unused single, without the value shift, and was in The Marquess of Bute sale, lot 278; see the next lot. The "L" in frame at right variety is unique, being the only one produced on this stamp. The sheet was typed with the paper out of alignment, so an adjustment had to be made when the lower eight stamps were produced.
