Cylindrical and on circular domed foot and with scroll handle applied with lion's mask, grapes and vacant oval cartouche and with hinged cover and leaf-capped scroll handle, chased with bands of lobes, foliage and strapwork and with beaded borders, the sides and hinged cover inset with coins, the rim engraved with inscription, marked on base - 11in. (28cm.) high
