Circular and with two cast scroll handles, chased with a broad band of stylised flowers and foliage and engraved with a coat-of-arms within plume mantling, marked on base - 3½in. (9cm.) high

The arms are probably those of March for Richard March (b. 1635) as recorded at the Heralds Visitation of London of 1687, (College of Arms Mss K9, 173). Richard Marsh married Sarah, daughter of John Foster of the City of London
