gouache heightened with gold on paper, the Caliph sits in the ornate baths surrounded by bath attendants and other bathers, to the left, in other rooms men can be seen being dressed and undressed, above a buffalo fetches water, panels of black nasta'liq within gold clouds above and below, illuminated heading, margins and leaf as previous lot, (light flaking and creasing, very minor damages to one edge), verso with 20ll. of black nastaliq in four columns on gold-sprinkled paper, margins as recto, illuminated divisions and heading, panels of diagonally written text within illumination, (very minor rubbing and staining)
