comprising parts of suras ii-iii and vi-x, manuscript on vellum, 55ff. plus three flyleaves, each with 13ll. of very small black kufic, vowelling shown with red dots, occasional groups of three black dots between verses, green, gold and brown marginal medallions, sura headings in gold outlined in brown, (some creasing, staining and flaking, occasional damages and repairs, folios trimmed, misbound), in Qajar Persian gold lacquer binding with central panel of floral sprays and brown and gold borders, red lacquer doublures painted with a narcissus and similar borders, in associated cloth envelope
