Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 287ff. plus six flyleaves, each with 7ll. of strong black naskh divided by lines of Persian in smaller red nasta'liq, with blue, orange, green and gold margins between black rules, blue outer rule, black ruled outer margin, words and phrases in gold, (light smudging and staining, a few folios remargined), illuminated opening bifolio containing the title, following bifolio illuminated in gold and polychrome with gold clouds between the lines of text, (some wear), the following 24 bifolios with similar gold clouds, ff.117-252 in a different hand on different paper, black morocco binding with gold medallions, pendants and spandrels (worn, one board loose), similar red morocco doublures
