A QAJAR ENAMELLED SILVER MOUNTED CARVED OSTRICH EGG NARGILEH, the ostrich egg revealed in eight oval panels each finely carved with figural scenes alternating with birds among scrolling foliage and flowers, the silver mounts forming a drop-shape with broad bands above and below of flowering vine and birds on a blue ground around green portrait oval cartouches, minor further floral panels above and below, mid 19th century (lower finial missing)
