A SULTANABAD LUSTRE POTTERY BOTTLE of drop form with tall tapering tubular neck on short foot, the body painted over the white glaze with a broad band of reserved leafy and palmette vine around roundels containing stylised carnation flowerheads, a narrow band of cursory naskh below, the underside with radiating arched panels containing floral motifs, the neck with an overall fine fish-scale design between minor bands, second half 14th century (neck repaired, slight irridescence)
