AN IZNIK POTTERY JUG of rounded form with flaring neck, loop handle and short foot, the white ground of the body painted with alternating tulip sprays with broken stems and vertical floral sprays crossed at the base by carnations, the mouth with similar floral sprays, betweeen simple leaf and lobed motif bands, late 16th century (very slight staining)
