Concertina album containing forty-six hand-tinted albumen prints, each approx. 3 1/8 x 5¼ in., two titled and five numbered in the negatives, mounted one-per-page, black lacquer boards, ivory and gilt onlay depicting a woman in a rickshaw with 'omi' in sky, 5¼ x 7 in.

Twenty-three landscapes including several views of Nagasaki, a view at Hakone and two river views; with twenty-three portrait and costume studies including a mother and child, Ainos from negatives by Beato, a woman in a kago, and a group portrait of a large family sitting by a lake.
