Album of eighty-one albumen prints, approx. 5¼ x 8¼ in. to 11¼ x 7¾ in. or the reverse, the majority signed and numbered in the negatives, mounted one-per-page, titled in ink on mounts, the last mount signed and dated Lala Deen Dayal Indore 22-11-91, inscribed in ink on front blank Presented to His Excellency Marquees(sic) of Lansdowne....from H.H. Maharaja Sir Anand Rao Powar...State Dhar. 24th November 1891/Dated Camp Indore and initialled A.R.P.S.D., brown morocco, gilt, title and photographer's credit in gilt on front cover, g.e., white-metal clasp, oblong 4to.

A portrait of the Maharajah followed by a street scene and architecture of Dhar; the palaces and lake at Mandu; the 'Holkar State Railway'; river views, a street scene and architecture of Indore; the Buddhist Tope at Sanchi; the Bhopal State Railway; Gwalior Fort; other palaces, temples including 'Khajraha', a mausoleum and forts; and a view of the 'Chichai' waterfall near Rewa.
