Album of forty-six individual albumen prints and thirteen panoramas, the former 6 x 8¼ to 8½ x 11¼ in., the latter comprising eleven two-part, one three-part and one four-part panorama, the largest approx. 8 x 40 in., the majority signed Townshend Phot in the negatives, titled in ink on mounts, manuscript index inside front blank, dark green morocco, gilt, Lansdowne armorial, initials B.N.R. and decorative corners applied in white metal on front cover, g.e., lge. oblong 4to.

Portraits of the company officers; construction of foundations and bridges; completed bridges, stations and branch lines; a view of the opening ceremony at 'Chakardarpur'; and the officials including Lord Lansdowne on a wagon emerging from the 'Saranda' tunnel.
