A KASHAN CARPET, of Ardebil design, the blood-red field with scrolling palmette and flowering vine around a cusped indigo similar cloudband and split-palmette medallion with multiple minor pendants and two pendant stylised mosque-lamps, the spandrels similar, in an indigo border of flowering vine around blood-red cartouches alternating with light blue roundels between ivory palmette and leafy vine stripes (very slight moth damage, repaired)
