FOUR IVORY CARVINGS, the first a brush pot carved on the exterior with the Wu Lao, the five old men in a rocky landscape with bamboo and pine, 12cm. high; the second a brush pot decorated with eight horses by a river, 7.4cm. high; the third a slender baluster snuff bottle with two panels depicting a woman with a child in her arms at a window and a man riding by a wall, 7.2cm. high; and a snuff bottle carved with two old men on a hill watching a flight of birds, the reverse with a man seated at a stone table with a serving-boy, 9.3cm. high (all with age cracks, the second brush pot with minute base chip), all 19th Century (4)
