A BÖTTGER GOLDCHINESEN TEABOWL AND SAUCER gilt in the Seuter workshop at Augsburg, the teabowl with an Oriental before a kettle, another seated at a draped table with an attendant holding a perch and another gesturing to birds in flight with a mischevious cat beside a potted plant, the reverse and interior with a bird on a branch, the saucer with three figures, one holding a parasol and a torch beneath a berried tree within a loop and C-scroll border and gilt line rims (slight rubbing to saucer), lustre BS to saucer and S to teabowl, circa 1725
