A MEISSEN BLUE AND WHITE ONION-PATTERN (ZWIEBELMUSTER) TUREEN AND COVER of deep bucket form with moulded strapwork handles with Frauenkopf terminals, painted with flowering chrysanthemum and other shrubs beneath a border of flowerheads and scrolling flowers, the shallow domed cover with crisply moulded artichoke finial (7cm. crack by one handle, minute chips to top of finial), blue crossed swords mark and K for Kretschmar and Dreher's .., circa 1730
