TWO BERLIN DATED CABINET-CUPS AND SAUCERS, the cups of flared form with gilt swan's neck handles and on three paw feet, one painted with an interior scene, the other with a topographical scene, within rectangular gilt line panels, the grounds with gilt stars between moulded beaded borders and gilt line rims, the centres to the saucers inscribed Zum 24 sten Februar. 1837. and Zum 10 ten Marz. 1837. within similar borders (the topographical cup with chips to two feet, slight rubbing to feet), blue sceptre marks and various incised marks, 1837 (2)
