A SCHREZHEIM PEWTER-MOUNTED ARMORIAL CYLINDRICAL TANKARD painted in brown, yellow, blue, iron-red and enriched with gilding with the Arms of the Bishop Elector of Mainz, a wheel on a shield enclosed by foliage scroll mantling and surmounted by a helmet, wheel, sword and crozier, the ground with scattered leaves and flower-sprigs, the rim enriched in gilt (base restored, repaired cracks extending up sides), , circa 1760, the contemporary pewter cover with spiral gadrooning and ball thumbpiece
