A FINE PAIR OF HELLENISTIC GOLD EARRINGS, each with a long tapering hook terminating in a filigree petalled rosette with central circular setting, below a nude figure of winged Eros who has one leg slightly drawn back, wearing a garland across his chest, holding an inverted dramatic mask in one lowered hand and a sphere in the other which is raised up, circa 3rd Century B.C.
