Of oval outline, centering Roman numerals "XX" set with rectangular-cut emeralds, surrounded by inscription, "TO EMILLE DITTWEILER, FOR FAITHFUL SERVICES FOR 20 YEARS TO THE QUEEN * OCT 17TH 1879", the reverse revealing a glass locket enclosing a photograph of Queen Victoria of England, within a scrolled quatrefoil frame, mounted in yellow gold, in a fitted case signed Garrard & Co.
