Wove paper, watermarked "H. SMITH 1814 [or 1815]." Original drab wrappers, uncut (rebacked, light soiling); cloth folding case. Provenance: purchased from Maggs Bros., London, 12 June 1967.
FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, with the publisher's advertisement [p.56] listing Roger's Jacqueline and Campbell's Selected Beauties. Randolph and Wise do not record the additional 4 pages of advertisements for Murray's works, printed by J.F. Dove. Randolph, pp.50-51; Wise Byron I, pp.103-104. A FINE UNCUT COPY IN ORIGINAL WRAPPERS.
