6 volumes, 12o (162 x 100 mm). With with errata leaf in vol. I; leaves B9-10 (vol. I); B4-5 and N12 (vol. II); H8-10, M3 and Q11 (vol. III); N8 (Vol. V) are cancels. (Vol. I: two chips on upper inner margins of F11-12 affecting a few letters, short tear crossing a few lines of text on B11; Vol. II: short tear crossing text on E5; Vol. III: two leaves with some staining G6-7; Vol. V: short tear crossing text slightly on I9; some minor pale spotting in each volume, a few minor stains.) Contemporary speckled calf gilt (some spine end and joint repairs); each volume with cloth chemise and housed together in quarter morocco slipcase. Provenance: William Adair, Esq. (engraved bookplate on rear pastedown in each volume) -- purchased from Peter Murray Hill, Stamford, England, 12 May 1960.
