(Short closed tear to title, a few marginal tears, vol. II with tiny burn holes to K5 and K6, vol. III with tiny ink stain to K3.) Contemporary black goatskin, gilt, double fillet and floral roll tool border surrounding lozenge-shaped central ornament built-up from small tools and central red morocco inlay on each cover, spine in six compartment elaborately gilt, red morocco lettering piece in one, gilt edges. Provenance: Lord Forbes (bookplate).
