(Part I: discreet marginal repair to portrait of Donne, blanks A1.8 removed, title with upper and lower corners renewed; Part II: outer margin of Wotton's portrait skilfully renewed, small rust hole on D3 catching two letters; Part IV: Herbert's portrait with short closed split along platemark, short closed tear on D3 crossing headline and first line of text; few minor marginal wormholes, one filled on first title, few small marginal repairs.)
