Printer's caduceus device on title pages, headpieces and initials. (Lacks L4, single marginal wormhole at beginning catching a few letters of shoulder notes, some occasional pale dampstaining.) 17th-century Parisian citron morocco prize binding, covers with a semis of fleur-de-lys within a roll tooled floral border, spine compartments similarly decorated, covers with onlaid stamp of Dublin College at center, presumably over the French school stamp, edges gilt (front cover detached, rebacked). Provenance: Antoine Roland (16th-century ownership signature on title, neat marginalia throughout) -- Edward Johnston (presentation label from Dublin College) -- Walter Thomas Wallace -- purchased from Thulins Atikvariat, May 1967.
