Since their one model policy ended with the demise of the Silver Ghost in 1925, Rolls-Royce continued to offer a large model, capable of carrying the most spacious coachwork of the specialist coachbuilders and bearing the name Phantom.

The Phantom VI bore few changes to the Phantom V, introduced in 1959, retaining features such as the box section chassis, drum brakes, and gearbox driven servo, however the Phantom VI offered exceptional comfort for the rear seat passengers with all the prestige attached to a large and expensive limousine.

This car with the custom coachwork by H.J. Mulliner Park Ward was supplied by H.R. Owen to E.G. Austin and is a seven seater with electric glass division. Air conditioning is fitted in the rear compartment and there is a radio cassette player. There are the standard occasional folding seats and walnut veneered cocktail cabinet.
The car is in tidy condition, but would probably benefit from some fine detailing. There are a few dents and scratches to the body and some of the interior veneer needs repairing. It drives well and there is a current MoT.
