An Unusual 11-Bore Scottish Flintlock Sporting Gun

With fine earlier Turkish twist barrel in five stages divided by raised bands covered with engraved silver and decorated at intervals with raised panels inlaid with silver arabesques, at the breech a gold-lined maker's stamp 'The work of Hasan', shaped muzzle with slotted silver fore-sight, silver-inlaid standing single-aperture back-sight, platinum-lined touch-hole, finely engraved slotted tang shaped to conform with back-sight, case-hardened signed engraved flat lock with roller and rainproof pan, figured walnut half-stock (minor bruising), chequered grip, engraved iron mounts (some minor surface pitting), trigger-plate with pineapple finial, silver escutcheon, engraved silver fore-end cap, and original brass-tipped ramrod
