A Very Fine Cased 32-Bore Irish Saw-Handled Single-Trigger Over-And-Under Percussion Pistol

With etched twist octagonal sighted barrels each cut with twelve grooves, the top barrel signed, fitted with blade fore-sight, and stamped with Co. Cavan registration number, case-hardened breech block with characteristic engraving and three platinum lines, removable pierced platinum plugs, signed finely engraved detented serial numbered back-action locks each with engraved safety-catch, varnished figured walnut butt, chequered grip, finely engraved case-hardened full-length top-strap fitted with blued three-leaf back-sight for ranges of 12, 25 and 30 yards, finely engraved blued trigger-guard and butt-trap, later(?) stirrup ramrod, and most of its original finish: in original lined and fitted oak case with accessories including Frith Patent powder-flask of planished tin, the lid with trade label and flush-fitting carrying handle
