An early 20th-Century German electrostatic machine set,
with a plaque for E.P. MADE IN GERMANY (Ernst Planck), with 8-inch (20.3cm.) diamter vulcanised rubber wheel, leather cushions, fruitwood turning handle, brass comb and conductor, the mahogany frame and base -- 11¾in. (29.9cm.) wide; with numerous accessories including magnets, leyden jars, discharge fork, hanging bells, conductor rod, two geissler tubes and numerous other accesories, contained in the original fitted wooden case, with blue paper lining and covered in green and black marbled paper, with two brass hooks and eyes -- 16½in. (41.9cm.) wide
