A well-detailed static display model of the schooner yacht "America" of 1851,
with masts, boom and flying club, rigged with a suit of finely stitched sails and all appropriate standing and running rigging, the planked deck with circular cockpit with benches, tiller and companionway, also with two lifeboats with davits, skylight, anchors with chain and davit, hatch, cleats, capstan and other details, the hull sheathed in strips of copper below the waterline and finished in black above, and mounted on two turned brass columns on an inlaid mahogany base, with brass-bound glazed cover -- 41in. (104.2cm.)
