A Meissen model of Bolognese hound
19th century, marked with faint blue crossed swords
Naturalistically modelled after a model by Johann Joachim Kaendler, the deep fur enhanced with patches of grey hair, the dog seated on its haunches and looking up with vivid expression in its green eyes, with long ears and curly tail (minor restorations to one ear and the fur to its head)
