A small Vienna state period teapot and cover
1760-1770, with underglaze blue Bindenschild, Pressnummer 2
Gilt and painted in purple with two vignettes, one with a gallant couple and a servant in a forested landscape with architectural structures, the other with two turbanned figures promenading in a landscape with a baroque castle next to a river, above a floral console enclosing a shell, with grotesque animal spout and wishbone handle, the cover decorated en suite with mushroom finial (the cover repaired)
